I finally graduated. May 2014. Im sure everyone felt the way I did. Excited, nervous, anxious, but above all of that proud of their accomplishment.  Today I am job hunting. I need more money than the company I work for thinks I should make. Ignorant people.  One day I will find a job that doesnt discriminate. One day..

Final note..

Well we have roughly four weeks left. This semester has been insane. I wish one of my grades was higher than what it is but its not. I hope that when I take the final test I pass with a C. I dislike classes where the teacher doesn't offer extra credit. you don't have to give much but some times a little is better than none.

Anyway, I hope each of you pass your class and I hope you are able to graduate when you need to.

This weekend has definitely been a weekend for slacking. I have so much to accomplish for school and other non school related items that I just keep putting it off. Once I finish watching The Knowing, I will get started on everything else. I want to go to the movies tonight, but I am not sure if that is going to happen. I hope like heck it will.

Friday night..

Well it's 10.27 p.m. on a Friday night. You ask yourself "What in the world are you doing school work for?" Oh my goodness. It has been a busy semester, but It is coming to an end rather quickly. I find it harder and harder to concentrate the closer it gets to the end of a semester. I often wonder do other people feel this way? If so how do you cope with it? The worst part of the year for me is Spring. I have a really hard time concentrating especially when it has been a long winter. 


I enjoy the trees and flowers when they come back to life. I will sit doing homework looking out the window. I often wish I was outside doing something fantastic. I end up staring out the window more than I do school work. I also tend to gravitate outside when my younger nephews are out there. I generally end up pushing them on the swing set. 


Holiday's are coming they should be entertaining for lack of better words to describe it. I like Thanksgiving only because the day after is Black Friday. There are only a few places I like to go. I used to get there like everyone else as early as possible, but now I take my time. I hit a couple of places especially Bath and Body Works. I love the Peppermint lotion. Its a great wake up smell. 


Anyway.. I hope everyone enjoy's the rest of their semester. I also hope you each pass your classes.. 

Horse meat.. lol..

Horse Meat

I haven't laughed really hard in a long time until I read this title. I personally don't think I am up to eating horse meat. I used to work at Louisiana Downs. In the morning's I would have to drive around to the backside of the track. I enjoyed viewing the racehorses. That is definitely one thing I miss. The power they have is amazing. Where I worked was just on the backside of the grandstands. So when racing was going on you could hear people yell, and cheer for hours. It was fantastic to hear.

I'm not really sure I could eat horse meat. I have a hard time eating beef and chicken. I don't eat deer, rabbit, duck, or any animal. So I'm not really sure how I could eat that. Then you hear stories of people eating cats and dogs. That really grosses me out. I have issues, however, I did find this story interesting. The article says that horse meat is better than cow, but I just can't eat it.

Weekend plans

So my friends and I were supposed to be going to the corn maze this weekend. However, due to a few technical difficulties we aren't. It's alright. Things happen for a reason.

I'm not sure what is in store other than studying for a test next week. And working on class work for my other classes.

This week has really been difficult my father passed away three years ago. I can't stop thinking about him. He was a great father. I miss him all the time. I am beginning not to like the month of October. Last week a friend of mine lost her mother.

 I'm ready for the fair. Not really sure why. I am afraid of heights. The thought of getting off the ground freaks me out. I love flying but cant stand the thought of getting off the ground. I don't eat a lot of the foods but I do like an elephant ear. When we were younger my parents would take us to the fair. We would buy one and split it between 5 people. Those are some of the greatest memories. Now they cost $5.00 or more. They are smaller than I remember them. However, they are still good.

Usually when November gets here things start changing. I'm looking forward to the cooler temperatures. I'm not sure what is in store with the holidays coming. I look forward to a break when school is over this semester.

today

So today was a day! It was the day to end a week that well wasn't all that great. It could be worse I tell myself. I have two great nephews and one turned 5 today. I haven't even had time to buy him anything. What do you buy for a 5 year old who has all the toys he wants? I'm not sure but I will come up with something. I have some Batman balloons in my closet that I bought last year on clearance . I am sure I will have one blew up just for him. He loves Superman, Batman, Ironman, and well anything to do with a superhero man. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I don't have children mostly by choice. I do, however, have lots of nieces and nephews that I dearly love. The best part about being an aunt. Is spoiling them rotten and then sending them home. The best part is when they really appreciate what you do for them. You know the sleepless nights, the phone calls, the shoulder to lean on, and the laughter. That is what makes memories great.

We celebrated Boss's day today. It was fantastic my sister made a one of a kind cake for them. I have two boss's. They are really great. I have worked for random people before that i was unable to get along with but them they make every feel like they are part of the team. That's what is great about where I work.

My nephews..

I take my oldest nephew to school in the mornings on my way to work. This is his senior year in school. When he graduates May 2012 he will leave for the Marine Corps soon afterwards. I’m going to miss him. We do all kinds of things together such as; the movies, eating out, and playing video games. I am not sure which one we enjoy the most. He is a great person. I hope he stays on the path he is on now and he will succeed at anything. I do encourage him though. I want him to go and see the world. I keep telling him I am going to go visit you. I hope he goes to Japan or Germany. I think it would be fascinating to fly overseas. Well ok I am not sure about that since I am afraid of heights. He wants to go to Japan for the real sushi. That freaks me out only because I like the California Roll (No raw fish). Oh yes I have tried the ever so popular raw fish and I just couldn’t swallow it. I’m not sure if it was the thought of eating raw fish or what. Now my nephew he ate it and was ok with it. That is the only reason I tried it. The things we do for our nieces and nephews.
