Me

I hope to graduate December 2012 however if that doesn't happen May 2013 is just as fantastic. I have a lot of interest but most of the time school comes first. I hope to one day be able to travel to see places like Stonehenge and Easter Island. I find those places interesting.

Out of town

I am going out of town for a couple of days. The little kid in me is happy the adult in me is stressed out. I don’t know how people can go out of town during school. It’s only for a couple of days and technically I can’t study while I am at work but that is not the point. The adult inside says “What is wrong with you?” and the little kid says “It’s about time!” I’m sure many of us have these same thoughts and/or feelings. My sister is ready for me to be finished with school of course for many selfish reasons. I am going out of town with her in fact. She also has a side business that she makes me help her with. So I am looking forward to getting away from everything except my books of course because at some point I will be reading, writing or typing about something. I’m still excited about this coming weekend because I have no idea what we will do or where we will go. I have not been in that situation in awhile. The adult is telling me to cancel all plans and suck it up about not going anywhere in the last few months or at all this year I should say. I am feeling confined and suffocating. I feel like the walls are closing in and the books are stacking up. What to do what to do?? Well I know the answer I am going on a brief road trip. Lol.. The stupid little kid wins this round..

  1. Taking random road trips is one of my favorite past times. At the same time that every adult obviously looks forward to vacations, I feel that most people get stressed out even while taking vacations. They plan out everything so that they can make sure they get to do everything that they wanted to do, that was "on the schedule." But I find that vacations or just as enjoyable and much less stressful when there is little to no planning involved. You can go wherever you want and do whatever sounds fun at the moment- you can create your experience! Have fun and have a great trip!

  2. I am not a person that plans things on vacation. About the only thing I plan is the hotel stay. That is only so I can get a good rate hahah. I think out of town vacations are meant to be fun and spontaneous. Well I think all vacations should be that way.

  3. I do know how you're feeling that this point. I'm taking an over night trip this weekend and we have all these writing due and lot of them involve waiting on others......plus I'm pretty confused and terrified about all the jounals, blogs, summaries, and the 5 paragraphed thing!! lol theres no telling what I'm posting or uploading these days! ignore your school work while your gone, then get cracking when you can get back to it!!! have fun

  4. Hey Amanda,

I think that is why I am scared to go I have so much to do for just this one class and in another class that it freaks me out. If I do go I will definitely leave most of the books at home hahaha

  5. I feel that way, too, when I take what's supposed to be a "fun" trip and I have to spend time on the computer. So teachers have the same problems!
